#1 - Noordwijkse

Noordijkse is classic links course on undulating linksland with each hole winding its way through the dunes and occasionally, in a Formby-like style, through pine woods. The design by Frank Pennink, provides for some stunning views, and some difficult holes with blind shots and pot bunkers. A great course and if you get the chance, a must-play.

#2 - Koninklijke Haagsche

The similarity between this Dutch links land and that of the British coastline is uncanny. Koninklijke Haagsche Golf & Country Club is an exacting layout which pitches and rolls across undulating land. Possibly the trues links course in the Netherlands, with a great finishing hole towards the clubhouse. This course has also been host of the Dutch Open and Senior Open on many occasions.

#3 - Kennemer

As soon as you arrive at Kennemer Golf & Country Club and you catch a glimpse of the undulating links land and the thatched-roof clubhouse, you know you are somewhere special. This original Colt design, has been host to the Dutch Open on many occasions, and will host the KLM Open of 2013. Famous winners include, Seve Ballesteros (he won his first professional tournament here), Olazabal (longest Play-off in European history, in howling winds against Rafferty), Darren Clarke, and Simon Dyson (defending champion).

#4 - Utrecht de Pan

Host to the Dutch Open on numerous occasions, Utrecht de Pan Golf Club is a strategic and exacting layout which requires thought rather than muscle, especially during the homeward nine.

#5 - Eindhoven

Eindhovensche Golf Club was inaugurated in 1930 and the great Harry S. Colt routed the course a dense forest a few kilometers to the south of Eindhoven

#6 - The Dutch

Opened for members play May 2011 and known simply as “The Dutch”, this new Colin Montgomerie inland links-styled golf course was at the heart of Holland’s bid to host the 2018 Ryder Cup.

#7 - Rosendaeldsche

Rosendaeldsche Golf Club is one of the oldest clubs in the Netherlands (formed in 1895) and is heathland golf at its very best, played over gently undulating forested terrain.

#8 - Hilversumsche

Hilversumsche Golf Club is one of the most exclusive clubs in the Netherlands bur thankfully you can still get a midweek game if you book in advance.

#9 - Noord-Brabantsche Golf Club Toxandria

Noord-Brabantsche Golf Club Toxandria was founded in 1928 and Englishman John Morrison laid out a nine-hole course on a small parcel of sandy heathland located between Breda and Tilburg.

#10 - De Lage Vuursche

The golf course De Lage Vuursche layout was fashioned by Kyle Phillips and it opened for play in the year 2000.
